Occasionally, a comics publisher will advertise that a popular artist is working on a comic cover or variant cover, only to change who that artist is before the release date.

For example - Marvel Comics may advertise that Patrick Gleason is working on a 1:25 variant cover for the latest issue of Amazing Spider-Man. Then, a few weeks before the book is released Marvel announces the cover will now feature art by J. Scott Campbell.

In this case, if you purchased the Gleason cover either separately or in a pack, we would provide you with the replacement cover by J. Scott Campbell.
